Channeled Resources Group (CRG), an industry-leading manufacturer of release liners, thermal labels, and pressure-sensitive roll labelstock, as well as one of the world’s largest suppliers of reprocessed, coated, treated, and laminated papers and films, has announced that Mike Hefelfinger has joined the team as strategic business development manager, Release Liners.

Hefelfinger brings nearly three decades of experience in the release liner and pressure sensitive materials industry. He spent 29.5 years with Technicote, later Beontag, where he held a variety of leadership roles spanning sales management, product management, and technical development. His background includes managing silicone-coated release liner and pressure sensitive sheeted divisions, leading inside and outside sales teams, and working closely with technical groups to qualify new silicone systems and alternative liner supply options.

A new role

In his new role at CRG, Hefelfinger will focus on strategic growth initiatives within the company’s expanding release liner business. He will also work closely with customers to develop reliable, application-specific solutions across a range of markets.

“Mike’s experience across sales and technical development makes him a great fit for CRG and our customers,” says Ginnie Gandy, general manager, Release Liners at CRG. “As demand for custom-engineered and domestically sourced release liners continues to grow, his industry knowledge will be a valuable asset to our team.”

Hefelfinger’s addition reflects CRG’s continued investment in its release liner business and commitment to providing responsive service and the technical expertise needed to develop custom solutions as the market evolves.
